5. Port to Port Services

Port-to-port shipping means shipping a load from the port of origin (port of loading) to the port of destination (port of discharge). The service does not account for either pre-carriage or on-carriage services, which is the main difference between port-to-port shipping and door-to-door shipping.

As a result of this omission, port-to-port services call for very experienced shippers in managing documentation, clearing customs, inland transportation, and warehousing. Consequently, port-to-port shipping services are very tense and are more expensive than end-to-end shipping. A port-to-port shipping quote involves ocean freight rate, security fee, container rental, cargo tracking, insurance of documents, free time for loading and unloading, and document submission fees.

International Couriers Service represents the basic services for handling deliveries in express and cargo mode in India. There are two services offered under this:

1. Domestic Express Services for delivering documents and small parcels.

Value Added Service (VAS) includes the following:

1. Collect on Delivery (C.O.D.): For this product, the “invoice value” of the item dispatched is collected from the consignee at the time of delivery.
2. To-Pay or Freight on Delivery (F.O.D.): For this product, the “courier or freight charges” of the consignment are collected from the consignee at the time of delivery
3. Mentioned Piece: This product offers “delivery of declared personal or valuable items”, which are delivered under a customized process ensuring complete safety and security of the tendered package.

Intracity includes the facility of pick-up and delivery in the same city. It is custom-built for the distribution of:

1. Bulk documents such as mobile or insurance bills, bank statements and annual general reports.
2. Pamphlets, direct mailers, invitation cards and so on.

SAMEDAY EXPRESS

International Couriers Service Same day Express Prime: ensures all types of consignment pick up on the Saturday before 06:00 PM and delivery on Sunday, and is available for select pin-codes across the country.
